Wrestling in the Federation as well as high school, Alan raked in the
awards. He is a 3x State champ with a record of 67-8. He had the Fastest
Pin Award 2x in the Federation, Outstanding Wrestler 2x in the Federation, Chris Holmgren Award for Sportsmanship, George Clark Memorial Award for positive leadership, upstanding moral character and caring attitude toward teammates, Hall of Fame Duel Team, 1st Team All Conference, and undefeated in West Germany in 1987. Alan feels his biggest thrill is a “toss-up” between being Crawford High School’s first 3x State Champ and representing the state of Nebraska in West Germany. While in Germany he went undefeated! “Both of these are such Big Thrills that I don’t think I could choose between them!’’ He is introduced by his coach, Joe Yauney.
