Dirk
Porath |
Dirk wrestled for
Mullen High School from 1984-1987. During that time he picked up 3 State
Champ titles coming to him his sophomore, junior, and senior years. He
was 23-11 his freshman year and never lost a match after that time. His
high school career record stands at 112-11 with 89 consecutive wins. He
earned 150 takedowns, 66 falls, and scored 845.5 points. Dirk has won
34 tournament titles while competing during his four years in high school.
He was chosen for the NSWCA Kansas- Nebraska Dual in ‘87 and also
wrestled for Nebraska on a cultural exchange to China. Graduating from
the Air Force Acadamy in 1991, Dirk is currently stationed in South Carolina.
Dirk’s father, Gaylord Porath, accepted in his absence. Dan Brost
