Hall of Fame
Jim wrestled four years at Banner County High School at Harrisburg under coaches John Cookson and Ron Klemke. He earned state gold at 112 twice and at 133 once during the years 1967-1969. His high school record stood at 90-10 with only one loss his senior season. His dedication and example were ideal models for other students and the wrestling program. He was named the outstanding wrestler in 1966 and 1969, was the Homecoming King, an all-conference linebacker, All-Around Student in 1969, member of the Hastings College Honor Band, All-State Orchestra, member of the State Bandmaster’s Convention Honor Band. We lost this Nebraska
gem in an automobile accident. His parents say they know his greatest
thrills were winning his three state crowns. Home | Board of Directors | Hall of Fame | All-Star Classic Copyright
