Kant |
Wrestling
for Winside High School, Max was a two time State Champ with a record
of 129-11.Going to UNL he had the misforune of breaking his finger as
a Freshman and had to be red-shirted. Max has continued his interest in
wrestling by coaching Little Kids wrestling at Winside for seven years
as well as being a volunteer coach for the high school from 1992-1998.
Still not jumping out he is presently a volunteer coach with Lutheran
High Northeast.Other honors include 2x Academic All State and 1x Academic
All State Honorable Mention, Class D record holder for career wins at
93 as well as National Record Holder.Northeast NE top 100 (11th) NDN,
All Star 8 man East / West game, Maine Exchange Team, All Star East /
West Dual, 4x State placer, and assistant coach for 3 State Champs, and
holds 33 tournament titles Wow!! Counting as his beiggest thrill was being
in the Parade of Champions three times and being married 12 years with
three children, Max is introduced by his high school coach, Paul Sok Hall
'96.
