Steve
Costanzo |
Steve began his career
in Bennington ('86-'90} where he was a 4x placer
gathering medals in 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and the coveted Gold! In addition he
can proudly claim the District Champ title 4x as well as the Conference
Crown 4x. His high school record stands at 131-14. plus he was a member
of the Bennington team when they captured the state title twice. Wrestling
forUNO from 1990-1996 he is a 3x All American as well as a 3x National
qualifier. In addition he is a 2x North Central Conference Champ, 1994
Native NE College Wrestler of the Year, 2x National Team Runner-up and
in 1993 was selected as Admiral of the State of NE. Presently coaching
at
Dlana College, Steve has conducted several clinics across the USA, Before
coming Dana College, Steve was the assistant coach at UNO in '96. He coached
at Estes Park , CO for 2 years and was assistant wrestling coach in Lyons,
CO..Counting as hhis biggest thrill winning 2 State Team titles at Bennington
and 2 Team National Runner-up finishes at UNO he is being introduced by
his high school coach, Rod Tickle
